This is a link to a hurricane page produced by a guy on a weather list that I frequent. He goes by Hurricane Josh and he regularly chases hurricanes on the east coast. In this case he flew to a small town on the Yucatan Penisnula to witness the landfall of Catagory 5 Hurrican Dean a week ago. Check out the trailer on this site of footage he took of Dean. Amazing stuff even if it was at night.

So what did people do 300 years ago when these hit? Did they have underground structures?
Okay, so when are you going to post links to your talks? We just bought a treadmill, I need something to do when I'm on it. Ergo, your lectures in mp3 format would be great ;-) Just a hint.
